Celebrate Juneteenth with a day of friendly competition and camaraderie, honoring the rich athletic achievements of African Americans. Join us as 24 – 36 teams battle it out in high-energy matchups to see who claims the crown. Whether you’re playing or cheering from the sidelines, don’t miss your shot to be part of this exhilarating spectacle where only one team will claim the VICTORY!

SPORTSMANSHIP POLICY
NOTE: Players MUST be age 18 or older to participate! Valid driver’s license or approved form of government ID required.
In our commitment to fostering a competitive yet respectful environment, good sportsmanship and cooperation are not just encouraged but required from all participants, spectators, and officials at our Adult 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament.
We believe in the spirit of fair play and the positive impact it has on the game and our community.
Policy Statement:
- Expectations: All participants and spectators are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that upholds the integrity of the sport and the community spirit of Juneteenth, showing respect to referees, opposing players, team members, and spectators alike.
- Prohibited Behaviors: Actions that contradict the spirit of sportsmanship, including but not limited to fighting, taunting, intimidating, or issuing verbal threats towards tournament referees, opposing players, or spectators, are strictly prohibited.
- Consequences: Failure to adhere to the Sportsmanship Policy will result in immediate removal of the offending player, team, and/or spectator from the tournament and park grounds by security. Failure to comply with tournament security may result in further legal action.
NO EXCEPTIONS will be made to this rule. The tournament committee is dedicated to ensuring a safe and positive environment for all involved and will not tolerate behavior that detracts from this goal.

FAQs
HOW MANY PLAYERS ARE REQUIRED TO PLAY?
Each team must register with a minimum of four (4) players, with the option to include up to five (5) players. This ensures sufficient rotation and flexibility during the games. In the unfortunate event of injury, teams are allowed to continue competing with a minimum of two (2) players, ensuring that the spirit of competition and participation is maintained throughout the tournament. Please plan your team roster accordingly to make the most of your tournament experience!
HOW OLD MUST I BE TO PARTICIPATE?
To participate in the Juneteenth Experience Jam N’ Slam tournament, all players must be at least 18 years old by June 14, 2024. This age requirement applies to both male and female participants, with no exceptions allowed. Each player is required to provide a valid Nevada government ID or driver’s license to verify their age and eligibility for the tournament. This ensures a fair and consistent experience for all competitors.
how many games will my team get to play?
Each team is guaranteed a minimum of three games. The tournament format includes two pool play games followed by a single-elimination bracket. This ensures that every team has ample opportunity to compete and showcase their skills on the court, regardless of their progression in the tournament.
WHAT DOES MY ENTRY FEE INCLUDE?
Your entry fee of $500 per team not only contributes to the tournament’s prize purse, making the competition even more exciting, but also provides you with some exclusive Juneteenth swag. Each player will receive a commemorative Las Vegas Juneteenth Experience logo jersey, a logo bag, and a logo water bottle, ensuring you remember this special event long after the final whistle blows. This fee helps cover the costs associated with hosting the tournament and ensures a high-quality experience for all participants.
